In 12.04 it worked fine. After upgrade to 13.04 (via 12.10) cpm stopped

Cpm doesn't ask for a password to use the configured gpg key, instead throws
Gpgme Error, Bad Passphrase.

tho, probably related to my custom partitioning. as I created alle the
LVM stuff beforehand (as the installer cant ..), I create a ne w
partition map as well, and probably the installer wasnt able to write
grub into the GPT partition table or got confused by it. tho, grub2

OK, the hint with parallel:/dev/usb/lp0 and *not* blacklisting usblp helped.
printer is not detected, but prints :D
anways, everytime I plug it in the segfault in libc-2.10.1.so is logged. so,
printer is running, but still this is a bug.

logged in, simply changing it is not enough to get alt-tab behaviour back to
normal;
you need to log out and log back in after returning the setting to Default.
