I can't reproduce your problem.
In DpkgTerminalLog.txt you can read that the problem is with package
debconf and not with gns3. Please retry to install gns3 package and
either reassign this bug to debconf or close it. Thanks.

this in not reproducable to me. Please create a new user account with
default session and try again. No Desktop tweaking. All default.

It is in the kernel now. But I still can't access my lvm. This bug appeared
after upgrading to
linux-image-generic 2.6.28.11.14. On jaunty release.

Sorry, I meant backtrace. I see this bug on 2 boxes. One behind a DSL
line (which is disconnected every 24h) and one connected via Ethernet to
the imap and smtp server. I have configured 2 email accounts. Both IMAP
accounts are using SSL encryption. If you need more information, let me
know,
