[Bug 1592466] [NEW] Ubuntu 16.04 LTS stalls during boot

Public bug reported: Hardware: Mac Pro 5,1 (mid-2013) Platform: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS Server Details of Issue: Though Ubuntu 16.04 LTS Server successfully installs, upon boot it stalls on trying to utilize the radeon driver. Specifically the boot process stalls with the following message displayed:

Hi Seems like the slow internet is not the only problem, I am unable to post this comment, its the 5th time i am trying. This bug is still a *big* problem, It has reappeared in 9.10 and this time i have been careful about what all i install, I have added medibuntu repos and installed

Some follow up with the bug The straneg case of the Huawei ETS 2288 CDMA data phone on 7.10 and 9.04 As you may have tracked on this list i have been having major headaches trying to setp the above device on 9.04. Initially there was a usbserial bug and then it simply does not work. But Linux

Hi What i wanted to write was that maybe this firefox bug should be closed, because its possible that there was a conflict in packages as they were drawn from difference sources. To explain further: My fresh install was Ubuntu 9.04, after the fresh install i added packages from Linux Mint 7

Have tried to install the above versions of Firefox 3.0.13 as well as 3.5.2, the problem is the same My machine is a t 60 lenovo thinkpad with an x1300 ATI graphics card. Not sure how to find what drivers i have but among all the others i have X.Org X server -- ATI display driver wrapper ram

Hi Micah, Ok tried that , to add a new profile and use that, that did not solve the problem I tried to update to the latest in the repositories, even enabled the pre-released and unsupported the updates. Tried uninstalling firefox completely - Complete Removal and then reinstalled only version

Hi This is regarding a device - Huawei ETS 2288 (CDMA Fixed Wireless Data Phone) its details are vendor=0x0451 usbserial.product=0x3410 This *used to work on 7.04 and 7.10* and stopped being able to work on 9.04 and 8.10 The issue is the same as for the rest of the devices so would love to see

First sorry for the delayed reply But the Serial to USB modem works under 7.04 and 7.10 (i think) but definitely not under 8.04 (hardy). So am reopening the bug. Ok how it works under 7.04 is that i have been making a rules file under /etc/udev/rules.d the file is called 026_ti_usb_3410.rules
