Create .Trash directory is not fix the problem. I think we need `rm -fr`
for Shift+Delete.
Indeed, creating a .Trash directory is not the answer. Nautilus gives
the option when i try to delete
To make it autoload, do 'sudo make install', blacklist all the build-in
modules, and plug the adaptor in. It should keep working from now on.
Whenever the kernel is upgraded, you'll need to so 'make ; sudo make
install' again, but that should be it.
Unless someone turns it into a DKMS module...
(oh, if the non-working modules have already loaded you'll need to
manually rmmod them before this will work I think.)

A very quick test on Natty indicates that if I use the drivers attached
here by emory (version 2.4.0.1) rather than the current ones (2.5.0.0
from the ralink website) it works. The 2.5 drivers cause kernel oopses.
The 2.4 seems to connect OK. I've only tried it with a g network, and
haven't really

- in gnome power management disable the function to reduce brightness when
running on battery
- you can change the brightness in the nvidia-settings tool

After ending up in a kernel panic boot loop this morning until I
disabled the wifi in the BIOS, I have now installed the kernel linked to
by Andy Whitcroft (2.6.38-8-generic), and am happy to report that I can
now connect to my home wifi without any problems at all.

100% repeatable steps:
Plug in external drive (in my case, activated USB storage on my Nexus One, and
plugged it in, and opened the drive with nautilus, no other file transfer other
than however nautilus queries the drive I suspect)

Thanks for that link. I followed that and I can now report that audio is
working through my audio out jack port, but still not through the
internal speaker. That's major progress though, so at worst I can plug
in some external speakers. Would be good to have the internal speaker

It is better to enable the cmd_cp line. The conf file clearly states it
is better enabling it than installing this perl module.

OK, it's probably slightly more complicated than it needs to be to
