The system tray in the lubuntu lxpanel is corrupted on upgrade from
11.10 to 12.04, massively expanding the size of the tray. It gets
overlayed with images from anything that appears over it - reminiscent

Quite a lot of people with issues being unable to shutdown after
upgradeing to 11.10 and it seems a lot of us have nfs shares mounted. I
see the above error message when booting up on the console before
LightDM kicks in.
I found a bug posted related to the issue I noted above

likely rpcbind, since I see an error thrown by rpcbind when my laptop
fails to shutdown.

I'm having the same problem mentioned above in 0.5.0/0.6.1.
- Does it happen all the time when Shotwell is running or just when you have a
camera plugged in?
The problem starts as soon as I start the application and disappears when I
close it.
- Does it also happen if you try it with another US
Ubuntu 10.04 (Server). Drobo connected via USB. Same problem. If I press
"s" the system will continue to boot. Putting "noauto" in /etc/fstab as
mentioned by Erik does the trick. Additionally, I also put a mount
command into /etc/rc.local. Not perfect, but it will do me for now.

Adding some further information and this is related to sacha's post.
As mentioned before, I have seen this bug a lot (though less so
recently) on my Lucid laptop after upgrading it from Karmic > Lucid RC >
Lucid. That laptop has an nvidea graphics card and is running the Normal
Visual Effects sett
shut-downs and restarts.

For me the behaviour is slightly different. I have my MP3 on a Samba
