Yes, the problem does look to be caused by the .ISO extension in upper
case. When I renamed the .ISO to .iso the movie plays fine.
Thanks!

Ran into this problem at the end of my upgrade from 10.10. Looks to be
resolved after manually running a 'dpkg --configure -a'.

I found out this problem exists with ISOs created with DVD Shrink. I
pulled out my DVD discs and created ISO images with another program and
they play fine in a storage group. Interesting MythTV has no problem
playing the same DVD Shrink ISOs outside of a storage group.

Hi James,
Unfortunately I have /var/log mounted as tmpfs and the contents are gone after
the reboot. However after upgrading, after doing an 'aptitude safe-upgrade',
it seemed to resolve everything.

Scott

Thanks for the distinction between throttling states and performance
states. However is it still a problem that I only have 2 frequencies
available? I have another machine with an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.5Ghz
(E5200) and cpufreq jumps between 6 different states.

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: cpufreqd
With cpufreq on 8.10, only 2 out of 8 CPU frequencies are available.
Other than that, cpufreq seems to be working. I have an Intel Core 2 Duo
3Ghz (E8400) and a Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3R motherboard. The CPU is not
overclocked.
