[Bug 631664] Re: Clock / calendar / locations applet opens on wrong position of screen

2010-10-27 Thread sim909
I had the same problem of Kantastisk, trying to grab the calendar results in just an empty title=, which matches all windows and therefore places all windows in same position. Manually entering title=Calendar fixed it. Need to open another bug for the grab function? Also, 'Click add and under x

2010-10-27 Thread sim909
@John Ching, very late response, sorry. No, I do not need to use the --disable-eplugin, all plugins are enabled, and I haven't had an issue since. Last night I did the same on a LinuxMint Julia box, I added the maverick-proposed repository, updated evolution, removed exchange account plus related

@John Ching, others considering thunderbird + davmail: before switching to Thunderbird+Lightning+Davmail, have you also tried evolution + davmail? I use it with an exchange 2007 server and it works, including calendar. I would assume davmail also works with a 2003 server, and if not it

[Bug 442130] Re: Custom fstab causes duplicate entries for partitions in Places

2010-04-30 Thread sim909
MartinP: could you please tell us what revision of the fstab line resolved the problem for you? This has been bugging me for a long time as well, haven't yet upgraded to 10.04, but from your comment I see the upgrade alone will not fix the issue. -- Custom fstab causes duplicate entries for

[Bug 340359] Re: Not a WebDAV enabled share

2010-01-15 Thread sim909
For what is worth, I was also suffering from this bug (I am the reporter of http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=566853 mentioned by Jörn Dreyer in comment # 11), but all seems fixed in ubuntu 9.10/gnome 2.28. Just for completeness, I still have problems connecting to some webdav servers,

Another thank you to Emanuele Pane. Just a couple of comments: a. the sudo command is really only needed on step n. 2 (I try and stay away from sudo and root as much as I can) b. before step 5. you need to cd glib2.0-2.22.2 to avoid the same error that Stephen Cradock reported c. I also

Downloading the Adobe version fixes the issue for me, but it introduces a new one: logmein.com control of remote computers stops working, regardless of the web browser I use (opera preferably, firefox as an alternative). I guess I could try and build a workaround so that opera uses one plugin,

I am not clear on what digikam version you have installed, are you saying that what digikam tells you differs from what synaptics does? What says 0.10.0 and what says 0.9.3? But regardless, you can always try to uninstall and then install, shouldn't do any harm (maybe no good either...). --

Since posting the workaround (I owe a late thank you to Alexandre Racine for posting the fix that really worked) I have moved to a fresh install of 64bit Jaunty, that offers digikam 0.10.0, and I don't see any problem: trash is handled correctly on my system. Also, I tried deleting the entry in

Yes, that is definitely the bug, also filed upstream to the gnome bugzilla as Bug 548507 in August 2008, but unfortunately still no activity on it (not that it is in any way a serious bug)! Regarding the upgrade, something surely happened when I upgraded from Intrepid to Jaunty, because I

I have tried it now, it is not a perfect fix, i.e. you won't get the error message, the image is moved to the specified folder, but it doesn't show up in the trash system folder. So I will patiently wait for a real fix to the bug, not being able to fix it myself. -- digikam expects trash to be
