I can confirm that the bug is fixed in Hardy Heron 8.04 LTS (i386). I
successfully resume from suspend and got the same IP address while using
the live CD. Thanks a lot.

Hi,
My home network is setup with DHCP and static lease for my computer.
I've set 192.168.0.20 for my only Ethernet card and when I boot or reboot I
always get the same ip (192.168.0.20).
When I put my computer into sleep and wake it

I was applying updates on Ubuntu 8.04 alpha 6 to test it and the network
manager failed to update. I was asked to report the offending package
but the report failed because I already had a Firefox running. I think
it should open an other tab instead
