Public bug reported:
I've updated to Ubuntu 13.04 yesterday and since the update (wich
otherwise went flawlesly) I am having problems with Network-manager
randomly not starting up. When I turn on my computer, the network
indicator sometimes shows up, then hides, and shows up again, all very
random
Also affected with this issue on 12.10. Its been quite a while now, but
its still not fixed. Too bad, its quite a major bug in my opinion.

Lets hope they add the h.264 decoding support for the g45 very soon.
Also it would be great if there were some sort of website that tracked

Thanks for the advice! The only problem left is I just found out h.264
hardware decoding is not yet supported in intel drivers for the 4500MHD
card. Is there any way to get around this problem or will I have to wait
until intel adds the support into the driver, wich could possibly take
years...

I think this is a priority! It is currently impossible to watch 1080p
video (h.264) in Totem because the lack of hardware acceleration.

Thanx for the workaround! Although it would be best if this module would
be loaded on startup by default, so that headset buttons would work out
of the box and inexperienced users wouldn't have to spend time looking
for a solution for the problem.
