Last weekend I've installed kubuntu on an q6600 using 64bit platform.
Before that, I have been using 7.10 on an 32bit platform (athlon xp),
and I haven't had any problems whatsoever.

It's the same in kubuntu 6.10 alternate too. Among all the options for
the croatian keyboard layout, all of them produce the same problem -
after selecting any of them, it's not possible to input anything except
numbers. But if I go back and select US layout then everything is fine,
