Pixel_juice, was it the recent kernel upgrade that fixed things? I have actually managed to play audio CDs with VLC, and it no longer crashes nautilus. Sound Juicer is still not working, and Rhythmbox refuses to open when a disc is in the cd drive. Brasero still crashes too. I'm curious how you

I can also confirm that there is still a problem with my Pioneer DVR- 218L still causes problems with Nautilus and brasero as of 17/05/2010 with Ubuntu 10.04. The crashing of nautilus is less severe now though. It crashes, and then restarts again, and I can at least view audio cd tracks using
