I have a problem.
The last ubuntu system update the wifi deleted settings.
I installed it WICD software.
I have an old laptop apart from what the wifi is a switch and WICD store
the informations well.
I installed it then WICDt FC V5505 onto a laptop, but there the wifi
switch with a hotkey can

The wifi is out of order in this manner for me.
What I did:
install Ndiswrapper
install Atheros Wireless windows driver
tested Cbrmichi 2 scrips, but not good (Directory nonexistent)
iwconfig
lo not wireless extensions.
eth0 not wireless extensions.
pan0 not wireless
That the forums I read, I tried them.
The wifi theoretically good, but I do not know it, that how let me switch it on,
I cannot use it in this manner.
I do not know it what do...

I bought this notebook (FSC V5505) and Linux will run on him only.
I installed it Ubuntu 8.10 versions.
