This started happening after a recent package upgrade. I couldn't log in at all until I uninstalled one of the NVidia drivers with `sudo apt-get remove libnvidia-common-440` This is Ubuntu 18.04 lsb_release -a No LSB modules are available. Distributor ID: Ubuntu Description:Ubuntu 18.04 LTS
