I want to note, that the first time I click on the Quit icon, it takes about
30-40 seconds for the dialog to show up.
After that, each time I click it shows up, instantly.

How you can replicate the problem:
1. Go from System- Preferences- Sessions- Select tab: Current Session-
Find gnome-power-manager and click on Remove.
2. Click on the Quit icon. (watch the delay of ~50 seconds, until the Quit
dialog appears)

Just as I upgraded from 7.10 to 8.04 through the net, after reboot this
error occured, which led me to this page.
