Before upgrading to 11.10 I was able to suspend the computer
successfully. Now suspending does nothing. I've tried enabling
suspending from the power management options as well as the pm-util
commands.

activating version 180 and signing in X11 locks up with the spinning
wheel halted. Trying to access shell by pressing Ctrl + Alt + F1 (F2,

Attempts to paste into Terminal from J-edit 4.3pre16 do not succeed.
Instead the Paste option of Terminal is disabled. Pasting into G-edit
works. Copying and pasting from G-edit into Terminal works as expected.
Disabling plug-in's does not help.
In Ubuntu 8.10 I've noticed that Rhythmbox and Pidgin are slow to
respond when transferring many audio files over MTP to a Sansa Fuze.
Usually Firefox, Gnome-terminal, and Gnome are unaffected. However, in
the process of typing up this comment Gnome was temporarily unresponsive
except for mouse

My wired network connection also stalls with long running, high speed
transfers on a new 8.10 installation. It did not occur on my other 8.10
