well i had the same problem, to solve it fist i press F11 two times (one for
full screen and the other for normal view), second i hide the top and bottom
panel, finally resize the firefox windows. For me it seems to be fixed, try it.

I also have this problem. I am however relatively new to linux. How can
I help? How do I log stuff?
PS - One thing confuses me: one of the workarounds for this problem is
to run setxkbmap. But if I press any key on the console it will
immediately crash!:/

That's what I did (sort of), since I'm using the AWN dock. Tomorrow I'll
