Sorry , tried Lucid 10.04 but had to revert back to 9.04 on my netbook
as 10.04 dose not support my Intel GMA500 video card driver.
The net card issue was resolved due to the fact that i stuck with B43 drivers
(Belkin Card) and gave the linksys card away.

I have the same issue as well , and not related to the Link pointed out
by Leann Ogasawara .
Problems being the PSB - Kernel source and headers wont install with 10.04 ,
this was ok in 9.04
no luck neither after doing a (sudo apt-get upgrade dist )
This is for SCH Poulsbo VGA Controller by Int
No longer have this card, But will be testing Ubuntu 10.04 shortly.

After many months have now resolved this problem , it was as simple as a two
lines of code in a the blacklist.conf file.
Problem was that the PC was unable to boot up with it connected to my nvidia
card fx6200 , the onboard is a intel, and was dissabled at bios , but even
booting up in recovery

Problem is still there, have tried everything i can think of and even the new
185 / 190 nvida drivers.
Any idea on how i can move forward with this . ?

Have removed all proprietary drivers,
Set linux-restricted-modules-common to DISABLED_MODULES="nv"
reinstall drivers
Still unable to boot while connected to nvida card
Nvidia crash file attached.Also Xorg.conf file.
