I have the 82865G chip and Ubuntu 10.4 rc 2 (Lucid) worked perfectly.

I have the 82865G chip and the tvtime requires hardware YUY2 overlay
support from your video card error. Grub nomodeset didn't work for me.
But this rollback worked.
rollbacking to xserver-xorg-video-intel 2.4 resolves the issue (ppa:
http://ppa.launchpad.net/siretart/ppa/ubuntu).

In Hardy Heron when trying to run phpgedview in FireFox 3 this file
/usr/share/phpgedview/www/includes/mutex_class.php was missing. When I
checked, all the includes where missing. Installed from repositories.
Download and re-install did not
