I have a bug which might be related here:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntuone-storage-common/+bug/584432
I uninstalled and reinstalled all of the ubuntone* packages and managed to get
61MB after 2 weeks (out of 18GB).
No joy yet.
I'm too prone to lose flash drives to use that as a workaround.
The nscd workaround does work for me under Lucid.
I haven't had a problem using nscd under 9.10 either, though my systems have
very light traffic.

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: rhythmbox-ubuntuone-music-store
The music store could/should have the ability to save pages or entries for
future purchase or perusal. This could alternately be tied to an existing
cart/basket or a 'purchase later' or 'save for later' cart.

Fallback icon now appears for me for the 'typing break' indicator

deleting indicator applet and session and then re-adding them .

Sorry for the delay in followup Things have been working (before and
after deleting syncdaemon.conf). Not sure if there's anything else to do,
since the original problem is no longer an issue.
Thanks

Context: Originally, there appeared to be a sync failure, but couldn't
tell if it was my box that originated the files (Server Box), or if it
was the laptop (Client Box) that needed to download the updates to its
local 'Ubuntu One' dir.

For my (work) Dell D820 running 9.10 (karmic), the fix in #22 worked.
I was able to ssh into my laptop and run the ' vbetool dpms on ' command to get
the screen back on when testing, which was handy. Ctrl-alt-f1/ alt-f7 did
not work.
I should note that I have another local user defined
