worked for my Acer Aspire 5830 TG.
I just clicked on codec-0 in the top-left and activated every checkbox under
enable.
The sound came immediately. I was near to give up on this!

btw, gvfsd-archive and gvfs-mount still have trouble mounting iso-files.
apparently sometimes the work, but most times they don't (with the files
I have anyhow). but as stated above gnome-disk-image-mounter works
brilliantly.

a pleasant work around is to use the gnome-disk-image-mounter, which
does the job perfectly, and also leaves a cleaner entry in the output of
`mount`

This may be just me that sucks at configuring vsftpd, but I've google'd
the out of this problem, pardon the language, and I can't seem to
get sftp login to work, with users with a nologin shell. Thus my last
inspiration was it might be a bug in vsftpd that causes it to di
looking in to this further reveals that guake, as was mentioned, depends
on the notification system (when display notification on startup is
active) but the notification system is not launched at any well-defined
time, thus allowing guake to start sometimes prior to the notification
system sometime

openconnect silently failed to show the authentication dialog.

Thanks for your email i reinstalled 11.04 from disk and it seems to be a lot
better but my mobile broadband signal is still low thanks
