But the update alone does not resolve the issue.
After I remove - install the drivers, lightdm and gdm several times, suddenly
it works :))

nvidia-390 fails to boot graphical
I think there is something wrong with gdm3/wayland/NVIDIA proprietary driver.
If I config gdm3 as default display manager, when rebooted, I have a black
screen but I'm able to switch to other tty by press crtl-alt-f2 to f7.

I still encounter this issue after upgrade my bionic to the latest update.
The only way to boot to graphic shell is config to using lightdm as default.
Now I'm in unity session and try to install nvidia-396 to see if it fix this
issue.

Just to update.
After serveral days I suddenly find my xfce4-power-manager can not running
again.
I found it is caused by dbus by exploring on Google in an ArchWiki
I use the command 'sudo update-rc.d dbus defaults' and then everything seems to
be ok.

Having a magnified version of this problem with Titanium Studio, and
also with Super Meat Boy. Screenshot is attached. I'm inclined to
believe that this is a problem with Unity and not with the respective
applications, because this bug didn't appear in 12.04, and the packages
for Titanium Studio
The fact that Comment #3 works most likely means that when the Unity
plugin is loaded, it rewrites the settings/keybindings to some kind of
(hardcoded?) default setting. Why should it be doing this? Shouldn't it
respect the user's preferences and not rewrite the keybindings unless
specifically
when i install file.deb (ubuntu-tweak_0.7.3-1~precise1_all.deb) right
click and open with ubuntu-software center
