Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: apt

Using version 7.0b4 of Ubuntu (Feisty beta) AMD64 processor, first use
of clean install X64. Trying to share folders using the context menu
system asks to install SMB and NFS when cilcked affirmative to install
just loops back to the same question. When checking in synaptic for the
packages it indicates they are already installed, but i still get the
same loop in the context menu. The directory i am trying to share is on
a USB external 320GB Maxtor Drive, which is showing correctly. I get the
same loop when using system->administration->Shared Folders from the
menus! I have tried re-installing the SMB And NFS packages but still
continue with the same error!
