I'm sorry, but I removed ubuntu unity, and replaced with Ubuntu mint 13.
(partially because of this issue - i needed bluetooth, but also because unity
kept showing error messages related to various programs - so it seemed
unstable).
I know that Mint is also based on 12.04, however I
