Confirmed single-channel audio here as well, Samsung Series 7 NP700Z5C- S02US on a fresh install of Xubuntu 12.10. Audio is only coming out of the subwoofer, not the two main speakers. speaker-test detects a single channel, and when forced to use multiple channels, channel 1 and 2 route to the
