OK Joseph, I did it and I got the exact same results. :-( It did say something about 3 file that were not previously installed or removed. Sorry, but I was unable to capture it. It did not name the files anyway. But I am sure it was from an update before the one that contained 3.2.0-24-generic.

Hi guys, I have some more info for you; This problem messed-up my 3.2.0-24-generic and it will not boot. I can only get into the system by picking previous versions and 3.2.0-23-generic. So whatever the fix turns out to be, I need to install it from there. THX! -- You received this bug
