when start with AC.
I have 12.04 from fresh install on samsung serie 5 laptop 24gb ssd and

Meanwhile I have tested more and more Systems and EVERY System is
affected by this issue. I tried gdm also, without any positive effect.
I also update to 12.04.2 (lts-quantal kernel and xserver) without any
positive effect.
So I continue getting a cup of coffee after power on and before log in.

I have the exact same problem when I log in quickly after startup. I
have to count to 10 after booting to the login screen and then I can
login without freezing. I also use LightDM, so I don't know if maybe
this issue
