Public bug reported:
I upgraded from ver. 11 to the ver. 12 release. After the updates have
completed, the system tries to shut down/reboot to complete the
installation. The system locks up on a command type screen. The only
way I can restart the system is to hard boot it. Once the system
reboots it fails to load the OS and shows "grub>" as a prompt.
