The problem mathew reported on 2007-04-03 could possibly be related to
the fact that the network manager in kubuntu feisty cannot handle static
ip addresses. My installation went through once I manually told the
network manager to connect once I booted from the live cd.

I had the same problem installing Kubuntu Feisty Fawn 7.04 over an
existing Kubuntu Edgy Eft 6.10 without changing existing partitions.

I'm having the exact same problem as mathew above. I tried installing
the final Kubuntu Feisty yesterday. 83 % and then nothing.

Well, I tried an overnight build of the Kubuntu ISO, and it gets to
"Installing language packs" and "Downloading package lists..." and then
locks up at 83% complete. So I guess it'll have to wait for the next
beta.
