Elementary OS Jupiter Installer failed to install its bootloader
(GRUB) to any
Boot into live system, then invoke the following commands in the Terminal:
sudo su
mkdir /media/target
mount /dev/sdb4 /media/target
mount --rbind /dev /media/tagert/dev
mount --rbind /sys /media/tagert/sys
mount --rbind /proc /media/tagert/proc
chroot /media/target /bin/bash
grub-install /dev/sdb
Thank you for your quick reply.
The install process seems to have responded to the GRUB problem by
deleting all data of Elementary from the external HDD. Also, I found out
that I no longer have a functional bootloader for windows. (This means I
can't boot into windows right now).
So:
