Public bug reported: Unplugging the power supply to the netbook (Dell Mini 9) causes computer the computer to go to sleep. I get a warning that there is not enough battery power and the machine will suspends. After resuming, I am able to continue working for hours. The trigger is the removal of the power supply. This does not happen when the battery is 100% full, only when it is charging.
