This isn't unique to Ubuntu, it's an upstream bug of the driver. Until
the A-series chips are reverse engineered by X.org, it will remain.

Title:
Suspend to RAM does work with fgrlx driver. But still interested in
using radeon.
By The way: is it Ok that FGRLX driver installs correctly (via Jockey),
but another line FGRLX after release updates -- do not install itself
and uninstalls previously installed FGRLX?
