shashank, could you please confirm this issue exists with the latest
development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ . If the issue remains,
could you please run the following command in the development release
from a Terminal
apport information

Installation of Nvidia Current (Recommended) driver by Jockey on the new
kernel fails.
A dialog appears saying installation of the current driver failed. Please

My display now works fine in 12.04. But I still ran that command in case
the data helps.
However, apologies I ran this command on 12.04. I will have to install
Ubuntu 13.10 for this and then test right? Can I do that on a virtual
machine? Would the results vary?
