12.10 daily live image? If yes, which kernel should I choose?
I would be happy to have this bug solved (and to help in

it means you can't install 12.10 or newer.. the kernel doesn't support
your hw.

I tried to boot the 12.10 daily image but it does not boot because

I understand what it means, but I don't know exactly what I can do to
have it working. So,
could you try with a 12.10 daily live image to see if you can reproduce
the bug, and report back.

Sebastien, do you mean synaptics (the touchpad driver)? If so, would it
be useful trying to reproduce the bug having previously disabled the
touchpad (by disconnecting it physically, or unloading a module, or I
don't know whatelse...)

I was wrong about the mouse behaviour, the mouse actually moves when the
desktop is freezed (see bug 877279).
