Public bug reported: When OpenBVE is opened and the "Get Add-ons" button is clicked, the program displays the message "Can not connect to server".
That happens because the main programmer left the project and abandoned the trainsimframework.org domain that was used to host the addons repository. Its new location is now railsimroutes.net. The hardcoded URLs should be changed to prevent the error message from being displayed and to allow add-ons to be downloaded correctly. ** Affects: openbve (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Confirmed ** Affects: openbve (Debian) Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #676665 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=676665 ** Also affects: openbve (Debian) via http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=676665 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1034511 Title: OpenBVE can not connect to the add-ons repository (old URL hardcoded) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openbve/+bug/1034511/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
