When I said manually fixing, I ment: dpkg --configure -a If installs some of the packages. Then I had to try later when the other packages were available in the repos. I was using the standard source.list of feisty, the one he installed, but as I selected my timezone in the installer, it

I too found myself in situations like this. I think it's because the mirrors. When I was using the romanian mirrors as repos, it happened very often. It's very frustrating as you have to manually fix the problem every time this happens. How about first synching the packages, and only after that
