Please can someone give an idea of how to get this fixed. Don't think
it's just a NZ mirror problem - I've tried with au instead of nz in the
URLs with the same result.

This has malfunctioned again in NZ. A lot of 502 Proxy error messages from
various repositories, mainly security.ubuntu.com.
Please can we get this fixed, this is causing major disruption.

I'm facing this issue in Finland, yet I don't know whether its the
distro or network-related thing, DNS server or something. My own precise
distros failed to update last night, and now at work this 10.04 updates
without any problem.
