version it's more interesting ... could you add a file having the issue?
It would be useful also if you could check that other bug I pointed
earlier, in case you hit that same color profile issue

In the attached screenshot, you can clearly see artifacts in a JPEG
opened in both EOG and GIMP. The picture in EOG seems to have a lot of
noise, but not in GIMP.
