Public bug reported: Ubuntu/Lubuntu Quantal i386, 64bit and powerpc
Packages involved: Firefox 15.0.1 java-common default packages icedtea-7-jre-jamvm icedtea-7-plugin icedtea-7-netx icedtea-netx-common This report was launched from an powerpc iBook G4, but it is the same on i386 and 64bit systems; so not cpu architecture specific. When I try to launch this java based BankID test, browser crashes immediately. Midori does the same. It runs fine in Windows. It is a widely used standard sign-in for web based Bank services. Site involved: https://www.bankid.no/Hjelp-og-nyttige-verktoy/Nyttige- verktoy/Test-din-BankID/ Sorry the site is not in English, but java popup should easily be recogniced. Browser crashes as soon as java starts running.
