Works all right for me on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS with the very same scanner. I
have used the latest firmware from Agfa. Maybe that would sort the
problem?
As far as I'm concerned, I'd say the bug should be closed.

I have the same problem. But with other error: snapscan:libusb:008:002
wrong argument. I have Ubuntu 10.04, Agfa SnapScan e20 and 0.096. I
don't know what is the problem.

Hi...am using hardy and said scanner - same bug to report. Have only
used Xsane - but from reading these comments I hold out little hope of
any other scanner software succeeding.

scanner, openoffice sometimes does, sometimes not, if oo recognises the
scanner, no scanning of multiple pages is possible. gscan2pdf acts like oo2.

I have also the same problem. The scanner e20 worked fine before the
migration to Feisty Fawn. I try to re-install sane, xsane and libsane
but it's the same problem with popup message.
