Public bug reported:

My Netgear USB wifi A6200 does not work in 12.10. It si not being
recognized by the system the stick is IEEE 802.11ac (backwards a/b/g/n)
compatible. It comes with Windows driver but this driver cannot seem to
be installed with Wine. with PlayonLinux Windows driver installs but USB
stick not receognized.

Filed this report on my HP-Mini netbook, but was told to file it again
from this computer HP-7100 (8GB RAM/2X1TB HD/i7 processor at 2.4MHz).
Received no helpful answer on problem on netbook and finally support
stopped responding.

1) The release of Ubuntu: 12.10
2) The version of the package: 3.6.0 (Ubuntu 2012-10-04), 3.5.0-18-generic 
(#29-Ubuntu SMP Fri Oct 19 10:27:31 UTC 2012)
3) What you expected to happen: USB wifi stick to be recognized and to connect 
to wifi internet network as all my other applicances do. 
4) What happened instead: USB stick not recognized and driver does not seem to 
function.
