Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: hotkey-setup

The Aspire 5020 series (and the 5000 series in general) uses the same
extra keys as the config for the Aspire 1600 series (acer-
aspire-1600.hk), so I'm attaching a patch to debian/init.d to use this
file the 5000 as well.

The patch breaks up the search for name into a range name (in this case,
Aspire), then a particular series (the 1600 as before, and now the 5000
series) (My sed magic isn't that good, so it can be cleaned up by
someone with more knowledge than myself

For future reference, as there are probably considerably more models
than just these from Acer that use this particular key configuration (I
suspect the Aspire 5100 uses this as well at the minimum), perhaps
something like acer-aspire-executive would be more appropriate name for
this configuration (IIRC correctly, this is the name of the particular
design from Acer that all these laptops are based around, and therefore
very likely all have the same hotkeys and scan codes for them)?

(As a quick aside: I am not a *buntu use;, I am actually trying to
repackage this for use with Slackware. Is there are an "official"
upstream source/ repository for hotkey-setup, or am I expected to just
grab the sources from the latest *buntu version of hotkey-setup?)

** Affects: hotkey-setup (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
