Public bug reported: After installing Meshlab, I'd expect it to register as an available application for opening STL files from nautilus. Apperently, it doesn't. Furthermore, the option for choosing arbitrary programs for opening files in nautilus has vanished after the upgrade from ubuntu 12.04 to 12.10. Bummer.
What I want to accomplish is, that Meshalb opens when I double-click on an STL file in nautilus. ** Affects: meshlab (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: - After installing Meshlab, I'd expect it to register as an available application for open STL files from nautilus. + After installing Meshlab, I'd expect it to register as an available application for opening STL files from nautilus.
