I am on a dual boot system (windows 7 and Ubuntu 13.04 64 bit) and I
have not been able to get Second Life or any other Second Life viewer
(firestorm, Kokua also tried) on this operating system. I tried
installing 32 bit libraries but to no avail. I installed the most recent

I forgot to add, that I was unable to test install Ubuntu 13.04 with the
CD burned from 17.11.2012 and not with one from 08.01.2013. They either
freeze before or directly after the selection screen regarding the
prerequisites.

It _seems_ to be a hardware related bug. Either the harddisk or the disk
