Adolfo, The jayatana in ppa:danjaredg/jayatana works with Saucy, but the
user needs restart the session after install, this version doesn't need
endorsed Java Libraries, now it needs a environment variable, so, any
Java Virtual Machine works with jayatana.

I've packaged Jayatana to my PPA. The package works for OpenJDK 7 only.
Add ppa:brunonova/ppa to the software sources and install the
openjdk-7-jayatana package.
It seems to be working (at least in Raring).
However, it appears Jayatana doesn't work in Saucy (for now, at least),
so I have not
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.
