Martin Pichna, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from

Hello,
just wanted to add - I have tried to use the NVIDIA graphical card only
w/ default driver it found (Gallium) - I have an option in DELL BIOS to
disable/enable it. However the symptoms (blinking) persist even on the
different graphical card & driver. So I guess this is related to Xorg
and no

sorry but I don't know what package name is responsible for my issue. My
graphical card is Intel SandyBridge, so I guess it's the driver.
