To manage
After upgrading the extension recently, I haven't seen display
corruption anymore. So I think this might be resolved. If it comes
back, I'll go directly to the extension's bug tracker.

to file a bug that would probably be the place to.
Can you do the following? Disable 'gnome-shell-extension-weather',
reboot and then see if the panel icon
Before filing the bug upstream, I wanted to ensure that I see the
corruption also with all addons disabled. But I don't: after I had
disable all addons, I didn't see any corruption for two weeks. Then I
reenabled one of the many versions of the weather extension and the
corruption reappeared on

None of these bugs seem to be about the same symptoms that I'm seeing.
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=742776 is about corruption
in all gtk+ apps. I only see corruption in gnome-shell widgets.

issues with hinting.
Can you try disabling Compiz and then seeing if the problem persists?

Okay, I think you should file a bug directly with the Gnome project as
there seem to be similar problems on their bug tracker so they know
about it. When you do post it upstream post the link to your bug report
