CCSM is not supported by Ubuntu. So this bug is Won't fix in Ubuntu.
However CCSM is supported by the upstream project Compiz. So this bug is
Invalid to Compiz.

Man, do you have ANY ambition to make Ubuntu/unity a serious OS?
Wherever i read on ubuntu.org - everyone discourages use of CCSM / not
supported. Deliver the damn OS with basic functionallity that f**king
works. With an attitude like yours ubuntu is doomed.

Hmm well it is in CCSM, I know you mentioned that you don't want to use
this...but its how you change values for compiz.
Its under CCSM - Grid - Bindings and they are:
Put Left, and Put Right.
