Sound started working late yesterday. Only changes to the system were
installing updates/patches that came out this week and last night I
removed numerous foreign language fonts that I never use. The only
place I know I can find a history of SW installs/removal is in the

Attached is the output from pulse audio testing.
I followed the directions in the link. Played a wav file (aplay
/usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Center.wav) and then completed the
directions. There was no sound from the system.

Latest patches, available this morning in the US for pulse audio, did
not affect this issue. Should I run the apport-collect 1099237
command again to provide a current view of the system?
