The same problem here on Raring 32-bit.
As mentioned in comment #3 it shows nothing. I can’t start any webapps I’ve
added to messaging menu.

In fact, it doesn't show ANYTHING in that menu, at all. I can't start a
new message in Thunderbird neither, nor Thunderbird whatsoever, nor
Gwibber... It's like the menu and the HUD are not communicating at all.
All the other menus, except the messaging one seem to work as expected.
