This sounds like another example of bug 99120. In that bug report, the reporter found by removing and swapping the cards the problem went away. However, both these reports probably reflect an underlying bug somewhere. Can you attach the full dmesg output, and the output from lspci -nnvv. Thanks

The PVR-500 is one physical card, swapping is of no use. I had the card working with another setup (6.10 with kernel 2.6.17), and they work both in WinXP, so I do not think its an hardware issue. Both requested outputs are attached. ** Attachment added: lspci -nnvv
